    Daytime compressor sound

    A short excerpt of the compressor running, most likely not at full capacity. It has ran for months at a time over the last two years, well more than half the year.

    This unusual sound has occurred multiple times throughout the day and overnight, and we did notify the company.

    These have never been announced and are extremely loud and alarming. Plus, they are a sudden, concentrated release of toxins.

    Nighttime compressor sound

    This was the very first night that the compressor ever ran. The night our hearts broke because we knew one of us would have to go. New compressors are quieter than older ones, and winter sounds are louder than than summer because frozen ground reduces absorption of sound and vibration (this was summer 2024).

    High Pitch Ring (5 days straight at one point)

    An example of a constant high pitch ring heard for 5 days at one point which also included a thick sulfuric odor that led to symptoms on day 4.

    Nighttime buzzers + compressors

    One of the various maintenance sounds we hear is a buzzer, that goes through the night.

We received a landowner notice for a “subdivision exemption”. At that meeting, there were no construction layouts or plans, simply one line that the “existing natural gas compressor station” was going to have an expansion.

QUITE an expansion, except that the original, silent “natural gas compressor” sits over Trailblazer (now a CO2 pipeline).

The new compressor station sits over the Rockies Express Pipeline (natural gas). No building permit required. The “existing” compressor has not been a functioning compressor since 2018, nor does it fit the description of a “natural gas compressor station” according to 2023 CDPHE Inspector notes.

The compressor station has very bright lights. After a while, they did shut most of them off upon our request unless they are working at night. In the event they are on, this is what it looks like and it lights up our barn and southern rooms.
